William

William is a minature Kune, Kune pig who was being sold in a car park outside a pub in Liverpool. Yes you read that correctly, how irresponsible some people are, he could have ended up anywhere. Thankfully a kind-hearted soul took him out of this situation and so he then moved on to live in a flat. The people caring for him there were very much aware that he couldn't remain there and they contacted friends of ours who asked for our help, we said yes of course.

Chester and Oswestry M&S

Forget-Me-Not Animal Rescue recently held two bag packing events at Marks and Spencers in Chester and Oswestry. A big thank you to our supporters Chris & Kathy, Lee & Jane and Jayne who helped out at these two events, with their help we raised a generous amont of much needed funds.

Forget-Me-Not update

We have had a very busy time recently visiting the vets. Unfortunately most rescues go through a period of time when they have a number of animals that are ill or injured. A number of our hens, guinea pigs and rabbits have had various ailments and it means travelling a round trip of 50 miles to visit an excellent homeopathic vet in Shropshire. Very sadly two of our beautiful amazing hennies died which is heartbreaking as it means they spent longer in the cages than they did enjoying their freedom. We were however, reminded that they were spared the horrific journey and painful end to their life to and in the slaughterhouse.
